Geminisat Co., Ltd. Participated in the 2024 Taiwan International Space Technology and Industry Expo (TASTI EXPO) from December 1 to 3, held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. This event, Taiwan’s first major space industry-focused exposition, attracted numerous renowned domestic and international companies, including Geminisat. The expo showcased cutting-edge space technologies and products, such as full-scale models of Formosat-9 and low-earth-orbit (LEO) communication satellites. Engineers provided live explanations, offering the public an in-depth understanding of Taiwan’s advancements in the space sector.
The TASTI EXPO aims to advance Taiwan’s space technology, foster international collaboration, and serve as a platform for academia, industry, and government to exchange and display achievements. The event highlighted applications in space technology, satellite communication, and laser communication, underscoring Taiwan’s competitiveness in the global space industry.
At the expo, Geminisat unveiled its first product, the V68 VSAT antenna, designed for maritime applications. It also showcased various terminal devices compatible with GEO and LEO satellite systems. These devices are suitable for integration with the satellite communication systems of major providers such as Intelsat and Iridium, ensuring seamless and reliable satellite communication even under severe weather conditions for users worldwide.
