The exhibition brought together global industry leaders and Taiwanese experts from industry, government, and academia to discuss the development trends and technological innovations in offshore wind power, promoting deep collaboration across the industrial chain, accelerating the technological upgrading of Taiwan's offshore wind power industry, and expanding its international presence. The exhibition featured four major thematic display areas: "Turbine Manufacturing," "Maritime Engineering," "Wind Farm Operation and Maintenance," and "Ancillary Services," showcasing the latest technological achievements from global organizations. One of the highlights of this year's exhibition was the inaugural "Floating Wind Farm Supply Chain Networking Conference."
Geminisat Co., Ltd. showcased a variety of VSAT antennas for maritime applications at the Space Conference, while also displaying various terminal devices used in high-orbit and low-orbit satellite systems. These devices are compatible with the satellite communication systems of the largest satellite operator in the U.S., Intelsat, as well as the low-orbit satellite communication system of Iridium. The technology provides offshore wind power work sites or wind power vessels with seamless 24/7 satellite communication coverage globally, ensuring all personnel have reliable communication at all times.
